A key part of the business since 1971 has been the building and re-furbishment of engines. We have completed many projects involving classic cars, race engines and been involved in prototype builds. On many occasions new parts have to be manufactured to replace parts no longer available or known faults with existing designs modified to provide a longer term solution or performance upgrade. Refurbishment, replacing worn items with new parts or the sourcing of replacement parts from proven sources.

Our dedicated engine builder with over 70 years’ combined experience works with the team to ensure build quality is achieved.

ENGINE DYNO FACILITY

• Can test engines up to 800 bhp

• Can perform basic test functions, gas analysis, lambda sensors, digital readout of torque, speed and bhp

• Mapping can also be achieved using a Froude F210 control system.

ENGINE REFURBISHMENT

• Crankshaft grinding

• Valve grinding

• Boring and honing of cylinder blocks

• In-line cylinder head boring

• In-line block boring

• Flywheel manufacture and balancing

• Pulley manufacture
